Stevens probably has had enough with developing rookies and sophomores and such.
Try adding some veterans from the LA Clippers.

Celtics in: Beverley, Kennard, Rondo
Celtics out: Smart, Langford, Nesmith, R.Williams

Resign Fournier and Parker, new rotation:

PG: Beverley, Rondo
SG: Fournier, Kennard
SF: Brown, Ojeleye
PF: Tatum, Parker
C: Horford, Thompson

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
Isn't that basically the package we were going to get for dumping Kemba? Why are we giving up Smart, along with all of our best prospects for players nobody else really wants?

It's a great trade for The Clippers.

I was thinking of including Morris, but he's playing so well that I doubt the Clippers would offer him.
Smart is an expiring contract and according to some sources a problem in the locker room.
With Beverley you get back basically the same guy without the issues.
Kennard is more proven than Nesmith, while Langford and Timelord can't stay healthy.
Rather bring back Rondo with his boatload of experience.

Beverley is 32 and Rondo 35. I think we are sending out the four best prospects in this trade.

That’s a horrendous trade for the Boston. All of the players coming in are worse than what the C’s are sending out. Rondo is getting DNP’s in the playoffs, Beverly is worse than Smart and overall overrated,  Kennard is a streaky shooter and below average defensively.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

That’s one of the worst trades for the Celts that I’ve seen on here.

I'M THE SILVERBACK GORILLA IN THIS MOTHER... AND DON'T NONE OF YA'LL EVER FORGET IT!

KP / Giannis / Turkuglu / Jrue / Curry
Sabonis / Brand / A. Thompson / Oladipo / Brunson
Jordan / Bowen

Redshirt:  Cooper Flagg

I would do anything to trade Smart. But I won’t do that. If there’s a team out there that highly values Smart I would make that move. Send to the Western conference. There’s a Nuggets player that interests me.

This trade is horrible.  The 2 best players in the trade are going to the Clippers.  The two cheapest young players who could turn into at least good role players are going to the Clippers.  We get 2 nearly over the hill guys who might not be in the NBA in 2 years.  Great.  lol

These are the kind of trades that get you fired as a GM.

Heck if this was Brads first trade as president he will likely be fired before the season even starts.

Perhaps the worst trade proposal I’ve seen to-date.
