We have a pretty gaping hole at the PG spot. What projected free agents will upgrade this position that we can actually afford with the MLE?

Ricky Rubio
Mike Conley (does he accept a small 1 year prove it deal)
Lonzo Ball (IMO he’ll fetch 18+)

I seriously wonder with all the debate about Tatum/Brown co-existing if he is the other shoe to drop? With the potential of re-signing Fournier does he backfill the loss of Brown to secure the PG spot?

Does this lead to a Dame Lillard/Jaylen Brown + Tristan Thompson trade which works on real gm?

Prove what?  He was an All-Star this year as a key part of the best team in the NBA.

No. Give genius Brad another 30 seconds to figure this out. I want Ball or Slo Mo

Prove he is worth a long term contract at his age and with his health.

I suspect he's more likely to get a long term / large money contract this off-season than he will if he waits a year.

I'm not so sure that Smart is still here next season.

I think this is the best lineup. Definitely want Horford to play with the starters for his Ability to pass, set screens and space the floor as a stretch 4. I see no reason why he and Timelord can’t start together.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

I think this is the best lineup. Definitely want Horford to play with the starters for his passing, ability to set screens and space the floor as a PF/C.

We just watched Horford mightily struggle in the 4 role two years ago in Philly. Has to be a C, I think.

It’s hard to know exactly what to expect given the variability of Fournier, Timelord, and Smart, but if we stick with what we have right now I imagine a Smart, Fournier, Brown, Tatum, and Timelord starting lineup.

I do find the floated Brown/TT for Lillard trade intriguing. I also wonder if there’s a way to try and base a sign and trade scenario around Smart for Ball.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

Horford not starting over Rob Williams.

Health is a big question mark for Rob. My guess would be a decent split of the starts between the 2 of them. Based on the existing roster and assuming we can re-sign Evan, the other 4 positions pick themselves.

I say save cap for next year pass on Fournier or any other additions.

Start
Smart, Langford, Brown, Tatum, Horford

Main bench
Pritchard, Nesmith, Parker, TL

Put TT, Edwards, and Grant on the trade block. So long as it's an expiring deal and includes a pick I'd take the deal. Make this a bridge year.

I’m an advocate for starting Horford. I think he fits perfectly beside the Jays.

We’ll have to see who else is on the team by the time the season starts but I can’t imagine not starting Smart as presently constructed
