Would you trade a Jaylen Brown package for Luka Doncic?

So I know the likelihood is very low.  But I read an interesting proposal where the Celtics could acquire a 'disgruntled' Luka Doncic for a package involving Jaylen Brown, Nesmith, Rob Williams, and 1st round picks.

If this deal was on the table, would you pull the trigger acting as Brad Stevens?

I feel like putting Tatum together with Doncic would give us an unstoppable 1-2 punch.  And Doncic, unlike Brown, is also a GIFTED ball distributor so it would make everyone on the roster even better.  I'm in favor of this trade if this deal becomes available.  How would you feel about it?

Won't happen but it's nice to dream. Not sure on what planet the Mavs would trade Luka for that package. This must be someone who kept working on ESPN Trade Machine till he got something to work. But assuming it was on the table you'd have to say yes. Luka is a transformational player, an MVP candidate and only 21.

Speaking of which, isn't Luka still on his rookie contract or are they assuming he will sign his extension to make the numbers match?

They certainly would ask. I'd think Tatum would be enough to land Luka, but definitely not Jaylen. I guess it depends how many 1sts we were sending and what other teams were offering, but what team wouldn't give up everything to land Luka?

So Brown plus the whole farm for Luka.  No thanks.

I'd rather keep the farm, trade Tatum and pair Luka with Brown.

Of course, probably neither the Celtics nor Mavericks do Tatum for Luka straight up for each other.

Both are superstars, but as a Celtic fan I'd do it for the ball movement.

Tim Cato made some allegations in his latest article in the Athletic. Something about Luka not getting along with Cuban's No.2 guy, Bob Voulgaris.

In early February, during the second quarter of a home game against the Golden State Warriors, Luka Doncic carelessly turned over the ball and received feedback from a Dallas Mavericks employee he didn’t care for: Haralabos Voulgaris, a well-known sports gambler hired by team owner Mark Cuban in 2018.

Voulgaris, sitting with an open laptop in his typical courtside seat across from the Mavericks’ bench, motioned downward with his hands, which Doncic specifically interpreted as Voulgaris telling him to calm down, multiple team and league sources tell The Athletic. Doncic snapped back, telling Voulgaris, according to one source’s recollection, “Don’t Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline.ing tell me to calm down.” The same sources say Voulgaris later professed that his motion wasn’t solely directed at Doncic, but regardless of intent, it only worsened an already inflamed relationship between the two.

Wouldn’t think twice about it.

Brown is a great player.

Doncic is going to be a special player.

I can’t think of a trade scenario that Dallas would entertain, from anyone.

I voted yes pretty fast on this one. But cmon now, JB for Doncic? An allstar for an MVP candidate? Seems like a no brainer for me.
