I would, but honestly I’m kind of hoping they need to amputate.

I guess he should have brought his smudge stick to Milwaukee.

Never want to see players get hurt, but I’m not gonna lie... This one didn’t sting much.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

I didn’t watch the game today and heard about the injury after the fact. One of my first thoughts was to sarcastically say “Kyrie is injury prone. Played 20 games last year, 54 this year, and is injured again in the playoffs. Besides this new injury, has been plagued by knee issues his whole career. Sean Marks should have seen this coming and never signed him.”

See how silly that sounds? Now recall that at the time the Celtics signed Kemba, he was a veritable iron man with a clean bill of health who almost never missed games. Things change fast in pro sports. Who knew?

Shame, I would’ve wanted to see the Bucks beat the Nets with Kyrie. Haven’t followed the series closely but it seems like the Bucks got their confidence back this game.

I hope Kyrie comes back for the last 2 games and Bucks continue to beat them. 4-2 Milwaukee!

Irving is frail.  It is one of the reasons I didn't like the trade when we acquired him and wouldn't have really wanted to give him the supermax.  Would have done it, because team basically had to, but also probably would have regretted the contract.  I also think it is pretty clear the Nets don't have Durant without Irving, so they to had to sign Irving to a max contract, but you do get what you pay for with him i.e. a very injury prone and very strange dude that very well might retire at any time.  Bringing Durant to Brooklyn is totally worth whatever headache and missed time you get with Irving though.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip
