Word is their considering Terry Stotts, if it's true I'm sure Stott's availability factored into their decision to fire Bjorken.

Think that's a good fit for both Indy and Stotts if he's looking to jump right back into coaching.

Kinda surprised at that.  Indiana never got all of their pieces on the court at one time.  Given that, I wouldn't expect a coach to get the hook after his first year - and a very weird, abnormal year at that.

Wonder whether there was something else behind the scenes... p---ed the wrong person off, perhaps.

It's a competition like any other.  If Brad hesitates, he will lose.

There was an article on The Ringer (I think? maybe somewhere else) that went in depth about how the players turned on him. Surprised it too this long.

so from one so so coach to another??

Pacer players really stood their ground against Bjorkgren from what it sounds like

Bjorkgren back to Raptors as an assistant I imagine

Exactly. And if he rushes and picks the wrong coach he will be pilloried all year for making the wrong choice. Such is the life of the head of a front office.

So he tried to be a hardarse Bobby Knight type screaming at the players and the players tuned him out because grown men don't like being screamed at like they're college kids? And we wonder why Brad didn't try and do the same with the Celtics like everyone wanted him to

Guys who advocate for the screaming coaches probably never played past high school or prior to the 1990s, it just does not work with grown men
