Well deserved.

First Nugget to ever win the award, first center to win in 20+ years.

An absolute joy to watch.

Love to see it.  Been one of my favorite players to watch in the league for a while.

Well deserved, and I believe the lowest drafted player to ever win MVP. Never judge a book by its cover, or a player by their muscle tone or lack thereof.

When all is said and done, imo Jokic will be considered a top 6 Center of all time (barring injuries). Possibly even higher than that, but he'd have to win at least 1 ring first. Not an easy thing to do, especially since he's playing for a small market team.

Don't like the fact that Jokic is in score-first mode in the postseason. I get that they miss Murray, but I'd still use Jokic as a facilitator. I mean, they got a legit scoring threat in Porter Jr. Prior to the Murray injury, the Nuggets were my dark horse to win it all this season.

I'd still rather have Doncic. Jokic seems to have an off game just about every time I happen to watch him.

It's great to finally see a center win MVP again in the NBA, and another in Embiid come in second. I believe he is the first center to win it since Tim Duncan in 2003, or if you want to be picky and call Duncan a PF, since Shaq in 2000.

Yeah Duncan was a PF.
