This will be a major make-or-break decision.

In all honesty, I wish Thibs were still available.  I think he’d whip these guys into shape defensively and he’s not the kind of coach to let himself be walked on.  I think the C’s need a tough-minded coach who holds players accountable for their on-court decisions.

If Milwaukee gets swept, does Bud get fired?

I like him a lot, although his playoff failures aren’t ideal.

Its too bad Clippers got to Lue first. Because he would have been a good hire

He's got to be toast unless they turn it around.  Too many severe underperformances in the playoffs.

If Milwaukee do get swept I think that's one or two too many playoff failures to overlook. Can't really be a coincidence

What about Jarron Collins? Gsw have lots of praise for his defensive schemes. I’ve also heard he was a quality guy.

I could see that. Looks like it was recently reported that he is leaving Kerr's staff to seek a head coaching position.

The new coach is whoever Jayson Tatum wants —- plain and simple. If he’s not on board then that person isn’t getting hired.

So Tatum can get 40 shots up instead of 25??

I would say no. Not right now.

Per league sources, #Nets assistant coach Mike D’Antoni is receiving interest for the #Blazers, #Celtics and #Magic HC jobs. The Nets will grant interview requests for D’Antoni — following the playoffs.

I don't buy it. I like D'antoni, but he's 70 years old and he's had his fair share of head coaching jobs including teams with MVP players who could have performed better in the playoffs.

100% ! People need to get off the notion that the Celtics are different. It’s a new era, superstar players run this league now— have for awhile— The Boston Celtics #1 priority should be Tatums happiness and to a lesser extent Brown. Unfortunately that’s how it works. I don’t want to risk it. Remember he’s friends with Kyrie. Very good friends. Who’s to say he won’t leave $ on the table and bolt. I want him happy. Cover all the bases.

So basically it will be his cousin Ty Lue then?
