I find it incredible that Timelord is under the basket with only Kyrie on him and they don't pass it inside to him.

Come on, Tatum! You go for like 8 straight points taking it to the rim, and then default right back to two dumb iso threes?

It's not just the iso threes - it's allowing the defence to set up with how slow he brings it up. He always edges the 16 second when bringing it up the court.

I bet it's his conditioning because it always happens later in the quarter, or after a couple drives.

Kyrie psyched himself out.
We've seen that before!

I Love how Nash calls a timeout after the C’s go on 6 point run. Then we have Brad who waits until the C’s are down 19-4 before doing the same. He’s hopeless...

They need a real point guard to really open TIMELORD up. Can you imagine a Chris Paul playing with TIMELORD?

How is one meant to defend Durant? Unless you're a generational wing defender like Kawhi it seems impossible

Truly is ridiculous. I wish he wasn't such a snake post his cowardly GS decision, because his game is beautiful to watch.

And his size and length makes him a good defender, too. Though you're right that Tatum has to learn to work him off the dribble and stop the iso shots on him until he's burned him a few times, making him hang back a bit.

Remember when Durant was considering the Celtics when he left Oklahoma City ?

Of course, he went for the easy title with Golden State.

How many saw Peyton Manning embarrass Durant at the ESPY's that year. Something about the USA gymnastics team being so dominant at maybe the Olympics, that he figured Durant was considering signing on with them. Durant just stared at Manning from his seat with nothing to say back.

It's legit ridiculous. He's preposterous talent.

How nice is it hearing JVG and Mark Jackson taking Brown's side and calling Irving's thing a bit self-serving?

Nets have it all. Unlikable people in Durant and Irving, then unlikable game in Harden :)

Agreed tho - love watching those two guys play their games.

I think the only way to defend Durant is a combination of ball denial (good luck) and preventing him from getting to his spots (also - good luck.)
