I don't think the lone big lineups are the problem - we just aren't getting creative with how we're trying to pound the Nets in the paint. I'm not calling for TT/Robert post ups, but Smart is the only guy on our team who can back down guards like Kryknee without chucking up fadeaway bricks and pass with defenders swarming him in the post: we should try using him in post ups with TT/Robert in the short corner while having the other three guys clear out for them so TT/Robert can either catch interior passes if Smart draws their man or crash the glass for offensive rebounds without a sea of defenders boxing him out.

That's a good point.  Unfortunately, it makes Smart the focal point of the offense, which we are trying to avoid, but at the end of the day, he seems to be the only guy that's not afraid of the moment.

Go Big or Go Home. Try Tacko and Timelord...just as a fan..I would be curious to see how that looks for 5 minutes..spacing would suck but would be fun to see if no one enters the paint from the Nets
A winner is someone who recognizes his God-given talents, works his tail off to develop them into skills, and uses these skills to accomplish his goals.

Push yourself again and again. Don't give an inch until the final buzzer sounds.

Outside Box:

Put Rob Williams on Kevin Durant. Durant kills us one on one.  Give Rob a go. It might cause problems with Durant on his jump shot, which is impossible to block. At least Rob could make him feel his presence.

That's all I got.

My thought after game 1 was the same. The Nets are small.

My only problem was whom to pair with Robert?

I voted against Thompson as they are not offensive forces outside of the paint.

The only power forward I could offer was Parker as he has some size and is a scorer.

I don't know how Stevens views Parker. I like watching him, but, he doesn't get many minutes.

Parker is not going to punish the Nets in the paint and at the rim.  I am looking for this lineup to tire out the stars by forcing them to crash the boards and try to box out these guys.
the overwhelming majority of shots by parker are within 9 feet of the basket. he is really good at scoring in that range.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Our two big lineup of old with Baynes and Horford worked because of Horford's skill on offence and versatility on defence. Neither of our big men provide either of those things
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

I would go the other way and play Grant at the 5.

That's all I got.

That's what I would do also. He's clearly giving Durant and Harden issues on the perimeter. but he must avoid foul trouble.
Covering Griffin and his 6PPG is a waste of Rob's talent. There are other players on the roster that can cover Griffin and could switch onto Durant and leave Williams with the screener.

Otherwise, play a box and 1 with Harris as the target. He's shooting over 56% beyond the arc, while the rest of team is shooting 29%,
