A decision like that should and won't be made after a season like this one. If next year goes like this then you make those decisions.

Yeah the whole "if one has to go" premise is really kinda weak.

If you'd have to drive your car would you rather drive it without petrol or without steering wheel?

The odds that Ainge gets fired and a new GM doesn’t bring in his own coach are pretty low.  How often does a coach last more than a year under a GM that didn’t hire him?

I would choose Danny only because I think the mistakes he's made have played a much bigger role in the team getting to where it is now. 

Of course, if you gave me a "neither" option that's the one I would prefer.

Anyway, I think this is kind of a flawed choice because realistically, if you fire the GM and hire a new guy, the new guy is going to want to have the chance to hire his own guy at coach, unless the new GM is confident that he and the coach are on the same wavelength about how to build the team.

I am as frustrated as anyone with this team;  but then
....how many times have the reached the ECF in the last 5 years? 3? 4?

How many teams can say the same?  Heck, all things considered, maybe the team was overachieving.

It has been a challenging season.   I would really like to see what the team can accomplish when fully healthy.

Keep them both.

Both if you get rid of one. BS hasn't used his roster right or motivated them. DA hasn't gave BS the best team.

clearly the answer is Danny.  He is 100% responsible for this disaster of a roster and poor decision after poor decision since he basically pulled off the Tatum trade.  just one mess after another creating new messes to get out of the prior ones.
