They've called some really cheap fouls and then let elbows to the head go uncalled.  Just an awful game from the officials.  It is going both ways, but still should be better.

Yeah, bring in those international refs.

Did Van Gundy really just say that the offensive efficiency is down because of "all the contact" that offensive players have to play through now? Really, Van Gundy? The game is oriented towards the offense more than it has ever been in the history of the league with tons of contact called as illegal now when it didn't used to be.

If anything, that was offensive contact, not defensive contact.
TP. That was idiotic by Van Gundy, especially since offensive efficiency is at an all time high level historically.

Same, I love to see that.  Let's see what the 4th quarter brings! TP, tar.

Portis just 'fived' Giannis after he busted his hump in an attempt to block an open court lay-up.  That's championship stuff.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Always thought he'd be an interesting fit on the C's. Would bring some much needed ferocity to the group.

Definitely. After game 5, Holiday said the team loves his energy and no one else can do what he does.  I have him in our dynasty league, but also Ben Simmons.   :(

Ayton has a chance to be great.  Just needs a bit of work on the mental/technical stuff.  Just needs a bit better positioning.  He will get that with experience.
