Giannis hasn't played well, but Middleton is 6 of 14 and Holiday is 2 of 8.  Therein lies the real problem for the Bucks.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

Cracks me up every time people says that Grant Williams can be a PJ Tucker type player.
Even at 35, Tucker is so much more athletic and laterally quick. Can guard almost every position.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Agreed. That comparison wrecks my head.

Unbelievable no call.  Clearest foul you will ever see.  Booker should be gone.  Terrible.

Cheating refs.  They should all be suspended for missing that call.

Wow, the refs swallowing the whistle on a blatant foul by Booker that would have been  his 6th. Booker purposely fouled him to stop a layup too.

NBA refs are the worst. That looked like an intentional foul by Booker there.

Wow. Giannis saved it, but in what world is that not a blatant 6th foul on Booker? Clear favorable call by the ref to not give Booker his 6th foul right there. Inexcusable.

They’re not the same player. But keep in mind that when Tucker was Grant’s age, he was playing in Israel. He didn’t make it in the NBA until he was 27.

Probably the most egregious circumstantial evidence I have seen that the NBA’s commercial considerations pollute the officiating. What other explanation is there? Booker was trying to foul him.

It has nothing to do with age. What makes PJ Tucker an effective player and a very good defender is his athletic ability. This is not something that Grant is going to develop with age. You can’t learn athleticism.
