Long time lurker here. I'm happy the Nets are out, but it doesn't make me feel any better to see the Bucks progress. I kinda hate them too haha. Best case scenario at this point is them beating the sixers and then losing to the Suns. Hell I would even root for the Clippers over the Bucks. I just don't want to see a direct rival beat us to the next chip, call me crazy.
If that's what you want, Crazy.  My preference is:  Sixers (Embiid gets his 1st), Clippers (Rondo gets his 3rd, Lakers get too watch the Clips celebrate), Bucks (Giannis and Holiday get their 1st), Hawks (meh) and lastly the Suns (not a CP fan).

With all due respect the Sixers are my second least favorite team after the Lakers. I enjoy Embid's game and persona, but he plays for a team I can't root for ever. Rondo winning a third I would not mind at all. Screw the Bucks and the Hawks.
I can understand that if you're from Boston.  Its good being from Alabama.  No pro team to root for due to geography.  So I have no issue rooting for the Sixers while Embiid is on their team.

Rooting for the Bucks from here on out. Would love to see Giannis get rewarded for committing to the small market team that drafted him.

good point - it would be great to see that mentality win out over the prima donnas who gang up on the same team.
The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce

I'm from Tennessee and I hate the Sixers. Too many bad memories from the 60's, 70's and 80's.

Kawhi (knee) and CP (covid protocols) are both out for game 1.

Atleast this makes it equal footing.
But CP3 is so important to the Suns as he technically orchestrates everything whereas Kawhi is arguably the Clips best player but ironically survived 2 elimination games without him.

Id say the Suns being on vacation for more than a week loses G1. The Clips are also on some momentum after that monumental win over the top seed Jazz.

Yeah, not a fan.

People saying these playoffs are amazing - I'm kinda thinking the opposite.

unbelievable!

who else is expecting that tomorrow Durant Harden and Irving all declare that clearly the Brooklyn organization didn't do enough for them and they are all 3 demanding to be traded to the Lakers to play with LeBron and AD??

i feel so bad for them.
i hope their wish is granted

Harden said he was playing on a grade 2 hamstring (normally 4-5 week recovery).  He came back after 10 days and he played all 53 minutes of game 7.   So he gets props in my book, regardless of his performance.

Had to go to bed early and missed what looks like it was a great game and woke up to the best result ever…an OT loss for the Nets, Cryrie didn’t even make it on the court and KD stepping on the 3 pt line to end up tying the game instead of winning it…oh happy day!
Any odd typos are because I suck at typing on an iPhone :D
