Golden State is 1-14 in their last 15 games officiated by either John Goble or Tre Maddox including 4 playoff losses with Goble

No wonder the Warriors lost tonight. Goble and Maddox were both the officials tonight. They both have something against the Warriors obviously.

EDIT: Lakers were also 10-0 with Goble before tonight's game LOL rigged game is rigged.

The NBA has the worst refs with the least accountability. You don't even need these types of stats to tell you what you just watched. Steve Kerr needed like 20 more challenges. You should keep your challenge if it overturns the call. I notice a much more limited use of replays so you can't watch it blatantly in slow-mo. Most of us catch it in real-time.

From a technical perspective, it's ridiculously easy to give coaching teams a screen where they can INSTANTLY replay from 10 angles in order to decide whether or not to challenge.

Actually, why not have 2 extra refs that do this and advise the other refs.

But no. Can't do that. Too rigged. Not even kidding.

Seriously, there's so many easy solutions. Especially with today's tech. Not even funny.

Such a terrible look for the NBA to have these kinds of trends even exist

"Such a terrible look" ... but it's not like any media will report on this. Nobody will know. Unfortunately.
Yeah, that is the sad truth of it all. Especially because it's LeBron and LA. The lack of a genuine watch-dog for the NBA is disheartening

You could have many more cameras and a whole crew to get the calls right with no refs on the floor if your goal was to get the calls right. The NBA wants to control the games. When Scott Foster ref our game against the Wiz I was wondering who he was there to give calls to but it turned out to be us. Tatum just never gets those calls on a normal night. I'm not saying he doesn't deserve those calls but he rarely gets them.

100% with ya. Tatum/Brown coulda gotten a LITTLE more love and our record would've been .650+

Looks like the Celtics are gonna be in Brooklyn to play the Nets this Saturday 8EST on national TV ABC.

A playoff series does not start until you win on the road as Doc Rivers like to say. The C's better steal the first game at least to make it interesting.

Wanted to hold off on assessing it until it happened, but now that we're at that point - I'm really not on board with the play-in tournament. Feels like a pretty half-baked idea.

How is everyone else feeling?

Loving it but the NBA needs to tweak and improve it. A 10-seed with a losing record should not be 2 games away from making the playoffs, potentially eliminating a 7 or 8-seed that won so many more games during the season.

In my opinion, they should just do 8 vs. 9 if the 7-seed is more than 10 games over .500 and/or if the gap to the 8 and 9-seeds is too significant.

Hate it. Made some sense for last season's end. Just a gimmick now.

This.  you'd either see better officiating due to more blown calls overturned (and hopefully repercussions for any refs making high volumes of overturned calls) OR the reviewers would overturn so few calls to save face for the league/officials that it'd be discontinued so we'd get this time delay removed from the game.

Anyone amazed at how Enes Kanter played all 72 games this season as his PPG and RPG went up dramatically compared to last year's.

See what happens when you have a coach who knows what they're doing with their big/player

Might be the first time we see a 7-seed sweeping a 2-seed, and most likely sweeping the winner of the 3/6 matchup too lol.

Let’s go Indiana!
