I'm not a fan of Chris Paul, but it sucks that he's always hurt when it matters most.  Dude might be the most snakebitten player in the league where untimely injuries are concerned.

Have to imagine that he'd have a chip with Houston if he had been healthy for that game 7 against GS.  Because a very weak Cleveland team would have been waiting for them in the finals (...or maybe us, if we're still talking about hypotheticals here).

Why can't we get players like Crowder?

 ;)

DeAndre Ayton and Devin Booker....both first-time in the playoffs and having quite a phenomenal night.

Hope to see them continue this performance the rest of this series.

Ayton is a load

This is the best game I've seen him play.

Every team he's on is tough.

Should've been a Boston vs Houston NBA Finals that year. If only we closed out Game 6 or have stolen either Gms 3 or 4 so we wouldn't have to worry about a LeBron James Game 7.

How sweet would it be to see some combination of a Phoenix, Utah, Dallas, or Portland Western Conference Finals? All four of those teams are very likable teams. Personally, with us injured and likely not going anywhere, I'd love to see a Phoenix or Portland win it all.

Maybe people will respect Phoenix now.  I've been sitting here watching all of these people call a LAL sweep, like the Suns didn't go out and earn that 2 seed all season long.

Crowder is a fantastic role player
This is the whole issue - Crowder saw himself as more than that here. People must be forgetting Crowder's tantrum about us signing Hayward.

He sucked at Cleveland, Utah and Memphis. Turned it around in Miami, but we weren't missing some star role player this whole time.

Never understood why people were assuming that the Lakers would smack the Suns or Jazz in the 1st round - both of those teams are fantastic.

Lol I'm glad I'm wrong on the Lakers/Suns prediction. Predicted a Lakers sweep.

Hope to see Ayton and Booker continue their dominance in this series. Can't stand Queen James and Anthony Davis, prima donnas.
