Well we got the heat in the penalty with 10 min to go they need to drive the ball every time

Except not like how Smartacus did it

This is the type of loss that changes minds in the front office.  At this point, keep Tatum and Brown, everyone else on the block.

Yeah we can make all kinds of arguments about how this is a weird season and the team deserves another shot. I've made a lot of those arguments.

But at some point rational arguments go out the window. This team needs a radical change.

The problem might also lie between JT and JB. They play for themselves more than playing for their teams. One of them should also be on the trading block. Coach Brad Stevens too, for a long time.

JT and JB are the talent core of the team.  I wouldn't trade either one of them.

Go get the best return you can on Kemba, Smart, Tristan, don't resign EF, even ship out Timelord if you can get a good offer, he just isn't healthy enough.  Keep the young rookies that have shown something PP, Nesmith.  Cut Edwards and Waters.  There are decent vet players out there who would be a better match from day 1 with Tatum and Brown than most of this roster.

Heat have had the same struggles as the Celtics all season, yet they seem to get a pass

It helps that they came to play on a virtual “knockout” game.

Now watch the officials bail out the heat by not calling fouls on them for the next 10 min

smart had no control over his last shot. he could have passed out to an open man.

Hard to pinpoint what needs to happen, but I will say this...

If Thibs was coaching this team they’d have 10 more wins. I was on the Brad train until this year and he’s a great coach but this team has proven that he can’t manage players.

Thibs improves your regular season performance but then his teams don't really have an extra gear.

Also he runs his players into the ground and his teams are done with him after a few years. He's basically Scott Skiles 2.0.

I'd much rather have a coach with a longer term focus who takes the team up a notch in the playoffs.

Brad isn't perfect and I'm sure there are other guys who could push the team in different directions in a helpful way.  I'm just not into the Thibs style coach.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

I wish Smart would stop looking for contact and just play basketball

Always seems to make a play harder because of it

Fournier will help the Cs stage a comeback.

Marcus, of course, will  ruin it with his hero ball.
