This is the type of loss that changes minds in the front office.  At this point, keep Tatum and Brown, everyone else on the block.

Yeah we can make all kinds of arguments about how this is a weird season and the team deserves another shot. I've made a lot of those arguments.

But at some point rational arguments go out the window. This team needs a radical change.

You will win a lot of games shooting 22% from 3s.

Yeah but 53 points in a half is fine, it's giving up close to 80 points in a half that's the problem!!!!!
true, true. miami 11 for 20 from three. that is hard to keep up with.

i have seen this team play great perimiter defense and shut teams' 3 point game down. but not lately.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Brad Stevens outcoached x 3

Celtics are not as together as the Heat

Walker a liability on D end

You dont let certain players wide open on 3. Like duncan robinson, herro, dragic. Celts should be full press guarding the person bringing up the ball

You dont guard Butler nor Adebayo tightly.  Keep falling for their post ups. 90 percent of the time never look to score

Getting Kemba in the mismatch every time down the floor and Kemba doing nothing on the other end.

The problem might also lie between JT and JB. They play for themselves more than playing for their teams. One of them should also be on the trading block. Coach Brad Stevens too, for a long time.

Maybe be bounced in the play-in will be a good thing. Maybe the lottery helps them and they get a top 4 pick.

Hey, I'm just trying to see a positive in this pile of crap season.

I was always hopeful that the Cs would turn it up a notch and do some damage come playoff time. After seeing this lackluster and uninspired effort on the biggest game of the year, I’m starting to think that perhaps going to the lottery is the best case scenario. This team just doesn’t have “it” this season. They need to look at themselves long and hard if they miss the playoffs.

We have to double on Kemba's man every time down the floor and that makes it impossible to guard the threes.

Haven't been this excited for a season to end since the 13/14 tank year.

Hard to pinpoint what needs to happen, but I will say this...

If Thibs was coaching this team they’d have 10 more wins. I was on the Brad train until this year and he’s a great coach but this team has proven that he can’t manage players.

Apparently 79 points is the most the Cs have given up in a home game in the Cs storied history

Can't shoot the three and can't defend it. For some reason are having trouble defending under their basket on out of bounds plays. No effort on defense and no movement on offense. Some of this lies at the feet of Brad Stevens.

i agree wth you pho. i was seeing a talented team and when it played to its potential it was a juggernaut. it can beat any other team in the nba when they play to their abilities.

but consistently they are inconsistent. all too often they disappoint.

keep tatum, keep brown. after that, see what trades have to offer.

maybe it is injuries. maybe it is the particular mix of talents. i am not sure. but change is needed.

Heat have had the same struggles as the Celtics all season, yet they seem to get a pass
