Jonathan Tjarks of ‘The Ringer’ announced last week that he has been diagnosed with Cancer (Stage IV).

I have always loved his writing and podcasts, Tjarks seems like a great guy who is loved inside the sports journalism community.

If anyone is on Twitter please pass on some well wishes to Mr. Tjarks. He was only recently married and has a young son which is even more horrible and I’m sure he needs all the thoughts and prays he can.

With cancer a lot depends of when they catch and what kind.   It is terrible to see it strike someone so young..  Hopefully, it is the soft tissue kind and I hope it has not metastasized as that always is a worse prognosis.
