This team was so dead in the water.  You figured that the Spurs FG% would come down in the 2nd half but they were so far ahead, I don’t know how a rational person would think the Celtics would claw back from that.   I’m just in awe of what we just saw.

Brad Stevens said he told the Celtics players at halftime he’s never been booed at TD Garden without his team deserving it. Said his daughter left at halftime. There was no reason to stay.

“But she missed a good one.”

Sure did.

[dang], that was cold but spot on from Brad. It worked.

Great night.  Cs win, Sox winning big in the ninth and solid drafting by the Pats.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Someone needs to invent an app, for when your sports team is getting absolutely smoked and you want to shut the game off, but it alerts you if they get back into it.

This team is painful to watch

Yeah, um, about that app...

Savage but very real words from CBS. This team’s identity right now seems to be “talented but inconsistent”, which is usually the battle cry of young teams.

60 pts with only 15 coming from three pointers. That is impressive from JT. He also had 15/17 freethrows. What a dominating display of offensive firepower.

Whatever's in that inhaler, better patent it and stock up.

Kinda amusing that Stevens' most scathing critique of his team all year came after a win.  Can only imagine what was said in that locker room at halftime, and probably after the game as well.

How the game has changed. Bird scored 3 of his 60 from deep, Tatum scored 15 and it's a case of 'only'. Great example of the transformation

I think Mike Gorman's comment earlier in the week was spot on. Unless you're talking about LeBron, Michael Jordan, Bird or Magic - guys in that category - any team who's best players are in their early 20's will be inconsistent. We just have live with it and hope the urgency of the playoffs makes them focus with more consistently.

That's me...Mr. Irrational.

Seriously, as Boston sports fans, if the 2004 Red Sox, the 2001 and 2017 Patriots and this game hasn't taught you that anything is possible(gee where have heard that before???) and that no game or series is over until it it actually ends, then you just will never get it!!!!

It's the only one we have heard of. My guess is maybe Brad gets a bit more heated behind closed doors.
