the singlemindedness with which OKC pushes the ball and attacks the basket is something I wish we could see from the Celts more often.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

With all the b!tching that goes on in these game threads I can't help but wonder where the hate is for Fournier. Fournier hasn't been bad since coming back, he's been atrocious.

Sure some will say you have to be patient because he is just coming back from an extended bout with Covid, but there was no patience with Kemba on his return and the same for Tatum when he struggled after Covid.

Why does Fournier get a pass? He's been beyond horrible on both ends. Heck, if Grant missed a three by 2 feet, missed a dunk and sucked on defense you guys would be ready to cut his ass at halftime.

Why is Evan getting a pass?

He’s been back for what, two games? That’s why. People started getting on Kemba after he was playing poorly for several weeks.
Wrong. Kemba was getting grief from day one upon his return.

I don’t think so. This is a new team for Fournier, he’s played in Like 5 games. People shouldn’t be getting on him. If he stinks it up for several weeks, different story. Also, Kemba is max player and he’s been on the team for multiple seasons. More should be expected of him.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

smart, fornier, semi combine to be 0-9 on 3 pointers so far.  :P

but on the bright side pritchard is looking good.
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Ugh, GWill what in the world are you doing?

GWill has officially ran his course with me. Nice, good guy, but man he's frustrating to watch.

Just got home from work.  Knee jerk reaction - how are we down 7 points to this OKC team that has a bunch of nobodies on it?

What a weird game.

Strange fouls, not hitting a lot ... it's kinda like watching two bad teams play. Which I don't think is fair for us, even though we're going through an obviously tough season.

I think it's just the missing - every - single - three. It's kinda insane and definitely making the difference.

We just can't make shots?

Meh.

In what world is that not a charge on Dort on Smart?? That call is so arbitrary; it's literally like flipping a coin whether they call that call on the pass.

They have been licking their chops for the soft part of their schedule
