Thanks for the free point, Bazemore.  Blockhead-lookin ass.

That's brilliant. Even though I don't know you, somehow I can hear you saying it :)

Incredible half by Tatum... and we're about to need another one.  Kemba and Pritchard have helped some, but JT might need to hang his second 50-piece if we're going to find a way to win this one.

Grant with the low IQ screen for Smart and with the low IQ foul on Steph.

We get that you hate him. Curry is scoring against pretty much everybody.

Lol ok. I’d like to see you justify setting a screen for smart in the post and bringing the double to him when Smart was shouting for him to clear out. And I’d like to see the sound reasoning for fouling a jump shooter.

Pls pls pls justify that to me.

I don’t see how I “hate” a guy when I’m justifiably calling out bad plays.

But yes, tell me how this is “hate” and not legit criticism of bad play.  Or is Grant playing well tonight? I must’ve missed that part

You aren’t criticizing plays. You’re criticizing a player. Not “that play sucks”, but “Grant sucks”.

I get it. I came to hate Teague - was seriously upset every time he came in. Personally I don’t think Grant merits that but your mileage may vary.

They’re shootings 60% were shooting 48%

They’re shooting 47% from 3 were shooting 31%

We’re only down by 6. I will take that any day. We’re in great shape for the 2nd half. Some great plays from Kemba in the last couple of mins after playing abysmally before that and JT has carried us

With all the injuries, I won't be disapointed if we lose this game. I can see that the team is trending nicely and teamwork has improved.

Having said that, I see that we are closing the gap to be down by only six at the halftime. 🙂

Grant William bonehead play of fouling a 3 pt shot must stop. When will he ever learn?

Parker 2-2 with two rebounds in 6 minutes. I'll take that. Grant with 1-6 and 1 rebound in 9 minutes...

Hopefully they cool off but the procession of wide open corner threes and layups off 4v3s has to slow down some. And the stupid fouls. If he hits the shot, he hits the shot. I know it's easy to say from home, but it's still dumb to foul a 90% free-throw shooter who shoots like 40% on contested threes anyway.

it is really nice to have two guys on our team under 25 years old that can drop 40.
but when one of them is out, other guys really got to step up and make shots.
Lucky it seems like we might get 45-50 tonight from Tatum.

You made negative post after negative post about Grant. That’s what I reacted to.

The screen was a bad play, no doubt.

The jumping into a Curry fake is less bad, to me. Curry does it to a lot of players, he’s on a historic year, even for him, and Grant is obviously in a bad position if he’s covering Curry at the 3-point line.

Is it just a coincidence that PG Smart totally ignored Grant when he was wide open at the corner?

Celtics FG 50% 3PT 5 for 16
GS FG 59% 3PT 8 for 17

Benches
Celtics 39 minutes 17 points
GS 35 minutes 11 points

Mixed bag for the first 20 minutes of the game...then? A Kemba led come back with 4 minutes left in the half?

Kemba + Tatum ground a 15 point GS lead down to 6

Warriors were pretty much standing there and watching this come back.
