It looks like anyone in a GS uniform can get a layup at will tonight

Jabari with two quick turnovers that looked like nervousness to me, but I'm liking what I'm seeing with his activity offensively around the boards. Should thrive off the bench for us. Him and Fornier will be a nice little tandem.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

Tatum will need to score 50 tonight for the Cs to have a chance. Unless Kemba can really turn it on

Brad wanted him in early probably to settle his nerves but Jabari has been all over the place - two turnovers, a missed closeup leading to a layup and a miscommunication on a switch that also lead to a shot at the rim. But it’s his first game so we can give him a little latitude as he tries to figure out which spots he needs to be in in this offense and how to fit in to the defense. It’s going to be a rough start for him though

Parker cannot defend in the NBA.  I like his offensive tools, but if he's a bucket at the other end on every possession then he doesn't help us.

That has to be his entire offseason:  improve on defense.  It's the only way he ever plays a meaningful minute for us.

He can score and offensive rebound. When Celtics are fully healthy his a good 9-10 man who can get a bucket.

Tatum!

Tatum just seems like someone who both from a game and season perspective is a slow starter and gets batter as time goes on. Eerily similar jump post-ASB this year from last year.
Very veteran-like, ramping it up when the pressure gets hot

His defense has been horrific

We are seeing firsthand how bad Jabari’s defense is. His offense and rebounding is a much needed shot in the arm though. That’s pretty much what most of us expected here. Hopefully though Brad can do something about his D.
