Under the radar a bit but Smart actually nailed missing a FT this time around. Huge play there with no timeouts left for POR.

Over the last 3 games (Minny, Denver and Portland), JT has shot 34 free throws and made 31 of them. I noted him driving to the hole tonight and Nurkic (a monster at 280lbs) bounced off Tatum's shoulder. If that ability to get free throws at will and put the opposition team in foul trouble is here to stay then Tatum has got a really hard to stop offensive arsenal.
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

Yeah - easier to do than to "ensure you get the rebound" off a missed FT though.

Still, that was the game winning play.

and the team knew what to do on the rebound. no foul, but trap the player so they cant pass it.

this game is what we all love about smart. few shots, but scored double digits. played defense like only marcus smart can play it. brilliant and with effort.

the lakers are toast in front of this team!!!!!!  ;D

Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Solid point.

We needed these; some hard-fought wins.

For our confidence.

To know that we can step it up when we need to hey.

Solid back to back wins against two legit playoff teams. What a great win tonight.

Good to see Kemba shoot and pass the ball well. We need this version of Kemba to get far into the playoffs. He and Fournier will be the x factors for us.

Back to back wins against quality opponents? Are we finally pulling it together? Add Fournier to the mix, and we may have something, come playoffs time.

If they can go 3-2 or better in this next 5 game stretch (LAL, GSW, CHI, PHX, BKN) then I think you have to feel pretty decent.

I'm gonna buy some popcorn for that last one.

Gosh. That'll be the real measuring stick.

Jayson Tatum is a stud..looks like he is getting how to be aggressive going to the basket. The next step is passing out of the double team and you have a legit MVP candidate.

What he'll look like in 3 years is mind boggling.

Perk just saying on Celtics Post Game that JT sought him out and called him after Perk's social media criticism and they had a nice talk about how JT could improve. Perk said JT was humble and didn't complain or Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. about being criticized on social media, but rather he wanted to get Perk's thoughts on how he could get better. Said his (Perk's) respect for JT, already high, went "through the roof" because JT didn't get into a Twitter war but called him instead.
