I’m going to give Kemba some credit for this game. He was miserable for 3/4 of it but picked things up in the fourth and OT. Shooting percentages weren’t great, but he hit some big shots late in the game. Finished with 9ast and 7reb too.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

A decent win with no defense.

Our bench scoring is weak link. That is why Fournier is so important.  Adds 20 points off the bench.

He can make such a difference. And the defense won’t be bad I think once he gets used to the system.

What is it with all the turnovers??

We used to lead the league, or nearly, in fewest turnovers, as recently as last season, right? Why have we become so careless? 20 TO tonight.

If you want to see something interesting elsewhere in the league, check the box score of New Orleans-Philly, especially the lines for Zion and Embiid. (O o)

Adams?

Embiid doesn't play as well against size.

Can we hold this 8 point lead with 48 seconds left?

No

Oh ye of little faith

I must admit I didn't have much faith either   but in a way these ugly wins build character and resilience

I'm taking the long view. This is a transition year and I hope wins like this build confidence for future seasons of title contention.

Tatum with 53 points and a plus/minus of 0 for the game. Sums him up perfectly. All style, no substance.

You said that a few pages ago but the copy & paste failed you because he finished +5.

Not to mention he played a bunch of his minutes with Kemba... no offense to Kemba he was great in OT but his defense is nonexistent.

I wonder what Tatum’s +/- was when he had like 46 up 13 or whatever it was with 3 mins left.

I’ll take the win but boy this has to be one of the lowest basketball IQ Celtic of all time.  Their end of the game execution and decision making is absolutely baffling.  Smart with a step back 3 with less than 2 minutes and a 8 plus lead followed by a Tatum contested step back.

On to the vodka for the night . . .

Seriously, does anyone know why Payton only played 12 minutes?
