Pritchard and Fall both +1 but only 9 minutes a piece. all the starters except TIMELORD played over 30 minutes in a game that was over at half time on the first night of the back to back. People will wonder where the energy is tomorrow?

I don’t know but if I was them after getting sonned by Philly I’d want to come out firing against NY as a matter of pride. I’d be really upset if they came out tomorrow just going through the motions. If they did I would hope Brad sits the starters ans plays the bench 40 mins each

I know it is easy to be down and negative, but look at the average age, experience and depth of the 76ers and look at our inexperienced squad. When 100% healthy and locked in Embiid (their best player) is a better player then Tatum (our best) and we don't have a true defensive counter for him right now.

Before everyone attacks Stevens, just look at Kerr and the GSW. He won 73 games with a balanced squad and now with Curry, Green, Wiggins and a bunch of 10th men they are 4 games under .500. Coaches can only do so much with the tools at their disposal.

Brad saying we made too many high risk passes against them in the 1st half and it backfired because we gave the ball away and gave the Sixers transition opportunities

Said his biggest fear with Rob was “staying on the court” I.e. fouling. Needed to be better with his hands

Gary Washburn asking why Celtics didn’t so the same as Philly in terms of drawing fouls. Brad defending his two all stars Says that Philly play a much more physical brand of basketball than someone like Tatum and brown who are much more perimeter players and just have a different style of basketball and are much less physical

Gary kept pushing that Cs getting killed at the free throw line and need to get better, Brad pushing back saying tatum and brown just have a different style of basketball to Simmons and Harris and they will prob never match Philly for drawing fouls. Said obv Embiid is in a different league when it comes to drawing fouls

I’m expecting a highly critical article from Washburn on the drawing fouls situation overnight

Some saw the problems with this team early on, but others were full of excuses. I think they should tank.

I wouldn’t get your hopes up. They will likely get steam rolled tomorrow. Kemba probably won’t play the segaba. Fournier out. They will not be able to score.

Those are very good points. TP for you sir. As I pointed earlier, the early success of our young studs, coupled with their all star selections this year, may have given them a false sense of entitlement to the point that they aren’t playing as hard and as focused as they were before. Early success always leads to complacency I guess?

As fans, we have been treated to how special this team could be with two young all stars who haven’t peaked yet. And we all have been frustrated with how the team has played this year so far because we know what these guys are capable of. The season has been maddening for sure.

The biggest problem for this team this year has been health. Not one game fully healthy. Most missed man hours in the NBA by a massive margin.

Why is that?

Seems like we should have lost by 20+ given that we didn't have a single starter who played well and Smart played poorly.

Embiid is impressive, but the rest of the Sixers team isn't. If it was any other year I wouldn't think of them as a contender, but in the year of the plaque, a one superstar team might sneak through.

Good question. We've had 20 more lost player games to COVID than the next worst affected team. We've also had more lost games than the 10 teams with the least lost games combined.

Sixers took their foot off the pedal when they pushed the lead to 20 with half a quarter to go. It wasn’t a close as the score line suggested.

Time to tank.....we need some nasty on this team. Team is toooo soft. No passion, they don’t like each other. They don’t even talk to each other on the court.

Washburn still pushing the free throw disparity with JT now. JT trying to figure out how to answer it tactfully
