I can’t believe anyone is genuinely happy Tacko is in... right? He’s trash

Tacko changes the game!
For the worse

Are you watching the game?
Yes. Tacko hit one layup, awesome! Embiid is settling for jumpshots because his conditioning is completely gone (missed 10 of the last 11). Tacko is still terrible

Embiid went off the box when Tacko came in and he also stuck with Tacko down the other end. Tacko is the change of pace center. Embiid is never played by someone taller than him. It's an adjustment.

Maybe feed the ball to JB more. JT and Kemba are invisible tonight.

Kemba is at least attacking, JT scored twice by taking the ball to the hoop, and almost every other shot is missed 3.

Considering we turned the ball over 14 times in the first half and gave green 3 open 3s of the 4 he shot we’re doing ok only down by 13

We need to regroup  and come out strong in the 2nd half and CUT OUT THE STUPID TURNOVERS
Any odd typos are because I suck at typing on an iPhone :D

Not sure who’s having a worse game, the players or the coach.

Players.

Lazy dang defense by Tatum there. He's been allowed to develop really bad habits.

Yeah the lack of effort is the problem. Tatum needs to learn how to lead by example.

Shout out to Kemba and Smart with defense and hustle to start turning it around.

We no longer have a guy who can even slow down embiid.
Plus the GM did a great job with the talent while DA fell a sleep this summer.

JB needs more shots, and Timelord needs to stop fouling, or looking like he is fouling.

More shots for Pritchard. Tatum stunk it up.

Tacko being there has forced Embiid to shoot 3s at least

It's a legit strategy.  He is an exponentially worse player the further he gets from the rim.  And he's a different player when he can't bully opponents with his size.

Did Embiid have a field goal with Tacko on him?

Embiids conditioning looked fine the rest of the game.

Tako gave us good minutes.  No complaints from me...

Our defense is really horrible on switching and double teaming and I think other team notice this as well.

There should be a stats of how many time a game we leave an open 3 pt due to lazy switch and double team.

can't decide if I should feel encouraged or disappointed after that first half.  C's didn't play particularly well with the barrage of turnovers and the inexplicable dry spell on offense but yet they're not out of this game.  Philly just doesn't impress or scare me as an opponent.  Philly did seem to enjoy a kind whistle in their favor so far.
