I would love it if Ainge went into a press conference and went off about the lack of calls his two stars get as compared to other stars in the league. Yeah, it might cost him some cash, but it needs to be brought up by someone other than the players or the coaches.

It's easy to move the ball around when you're winning. Or is it that when you move the ball around you win? I think it's the latter but regardless it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. And I hope they remember it on Sunday when they face stiffer competition from Charlotte. It's easy to move the ball around when you're leading by 20 against a bad team and feeling good. They have to remember that they can also do it when Charlotte is making a run at them or Hayward is going off, they don't have to revert to iso when they run up against their nemesis Adversity. Trust each other!

I think players in tough games, Tatum in particular, try to take on too much by themselves which leads to holding onto the ball thus poor ball movement.

That’s the challenge, to not revert to hero ball when you are up against a good team or when you move the ball and the shots don’t fall. Tonight they fell but they won’t always. To me it’s important that they keep it up regardless of the results, because that means that they trust their approach and they trust each other.

That’s going to be the big challenge for them but if they can stick with it through good and bad I think they will have much more good than bad, they will be a team where the whole will be greater than the sum of the parts.

I totally agree.  The hero ball that we’ve seen so much of this year has been frustrating to watch.

The hack across Brown's face that went uncalled was about as p---ed as I've been at the refs all year.  That was egregious, and to double down on it with a T was infuriating.

You and me both. I almost never get angry during the games, but the calls Houston was getting, while Brown had been hacked probably three other times that he should have gone to the line for and didn't, got a no call on a possible flagrant foul and then T'ed up after?!?!?!?!

Yeah, I went nuts.

That should have been an And 1 and looked at as a flagrant. Instead, Houston is shooting a technical.

Robert scored 20 points tonight and he doesn't shoot threes.

Robert's stats for his last ten starts...

MPG 24
PPG 10.9
Rpg 8.7
Blx 2.6
APG 3.4

We have a star on our hands

Interestingly Tatum had zero assists...I’m sure he had a couple of hockey assists though

6 shots for Smart and he had a tremendous performance. I hope he realizes that he doesn’t need to score in order to impact the game. JT,JB,Kemba, and Fournier are our gunners. And if they feed of one another and not play ISO ball, this team could be dangerous. I sure hope this game is a stepping stone for greater things to come. Congrats again to everyone!

Dont get your hopes up

Against a good team/tight game... he is addicted to shooting the tough ones

I guess I'm the only one not impressed by Wood. Looks like classic good player on Bad team type guy. No D and can't shoot free throws. I admit I have see him that much so maybe that's it...

Rob really outplayed him tonight.

Yeah, TIMELORD looked like the much better player.

Wood would be a solid backup for Rob.
