Gotta say I’m not sure how Cousins moves the needle for any NBA team on the court. He’s washed IMO. These buyout names - well, mainly Boogie, Blake, and LMA - get hype because of their careers. But they won’t help either team all that much. Drummond is easily the best signing of the bunch.

I am all in on the Clips this year, but for whatever reason the pieces don’t seem to fit together well.

Cousins got cut by one of the worst teams in the NBA and that was while Woods was out with injury and they had no other bigs on the team. They were playing Tucker at, C lol.

Because they don't know how to build around Leonard and George and didn't have much to start with after acquiring George.  They are pretty much stuck with what they have.  I could see them losing in the 1st round or winning the whole thing.  Just a strange team.

Yeah the C's put culture and player attitude above talent.  It's why guys like Grand Williams get drafted.  Grant's a great guy but the talent isn't in the top 50% of NBA players.

True, but look where it has got us a bunch of guys who play below draft expectation.

Sometimes GOOD GUYS FINISH LAST!  Still it may be better than having trouble in the locker room.   It just never works out for us when Ainge tries to find the next Draymond Green.   It bombed on Gerschon and it looks bad for Grant.   I think the rest of the league has switched away from the Golden State Small Ball model somewhat and teams with size kill us.  Are we trying to win the last war metaphorically?
