I doubt Romeo will go 0-10  ;D

I liked what I saw when he was healthy . 

I like how he was not afraid to step into the paint to create a pass or a shot or snag a rebound .

Fingers crossed....

News: 5 hours agoLangford (conditioning) will be available Friday against the Rockets, Chris Forsberg of NBC Sports Boston reports.

Spin: Hip and wrist injuries, along with health and safety protocols, have prevented Langford from playing this season. However, he'll finally be available for a game Friday. It's not a guarantee he'll see the court, but he'll represent another option on the wing for coach Brad Stevens when the offense is stagnant.

I don’t think he gets in the game unless the C’s miraculously have a large lead in the 4th with only a few minutes to go. Fournier should be getting all of the backup minutes at the 2/3. Brad needs to shorten the rotation.

We are playing the Rockets, right?  Worst team in the league (no offence to OKC)?

I think this is the perfect game to get Langford some playing time.  Give him a good run.  Make him a little sore.

Fair point.

I keep reminding myself that we are playing without what for most of the season was our starting front court (Theis and Thompson) and a key bench big (Semi).

These COVID returns are tricky.  Tatum has not looked the same since but there could be a lot of reasons for that beyond the residual effect of the damage the virus does.  Thompson could be in the same boat

Romeo may be a nice option off the bench for us which is helpful (or he may not be anything) but to me, the real difference makers are going to be the bigs.  Even though we are likely to play more with 1 big now, we are still going to need at least decent play out of some combination of Thompson, RWill, Warner, Ojeleye, and Kornet (plus I guess GWill).

We of course need Tatum, Brown, Walker, Smart, Fournier, etc to play well but that will only take us so far.  We will need our bigs to make noise in the playoffs (or even make the playoffs).
