Cousins is intriguing. He’s had some great games with Houston when Wood was out. I wanna see how Boston’s system and culture could affect his game. Who de we cut though, Mo or Kornet? I read somewhere that Miami may also be a possible destination for him.

That’s the smart money.  He’d fit better here, though.  Offensively Brad could use him similarly to Horford, as he’s a very good passer.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
Would be psyched with Cousins. Able to space the floor a bit, pass, and bang with bigs down low. Not psyched about losing Theis at all, but he offers a lot more upside this season than Kornet. And could use the taxpayer MLE on him next year if he really works out.

I think a healthy Avery Bradley is the only player that I see that might get bought out that might be worth adding. He can defend Kyrie and knock down the 3. Hey, that rhymes!

Cousins video and he seems in shape right now. 25 minutes a game could go a long way for us.

https://twitter.com/TheHoopCentral/status/1375601071138037761?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1375601071138037761%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_c10&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fd-16074368061541415493.ampproject.net%2F2103122145004%2Fframe.html

Who's he playing against in this video?

Not the Sixers! 😁 Still, the big concern from Houston was his ability to play minutes. Even against hourly workers, he is moving well 😎

Is he moving well?

The vid was professionally edited. The players looked like worse than NCAA quality. At NBA game speed versus NBA players, without editing out the bad stuff, does Boogie look that good?

I wonder because he doesn't seem to be getting interest from anywhere.

He looks super slow and he did get cut by an awful team. Think he might be toast.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

He just played a month where he put up 12 and 8 and shot 38% from 3PT in 24 minutes per game.  Similarly, as a starter he averaged 13/11/3 on 37% 3PT%.

Unfortunately, first and second tier options chose Nets and Lakers. We have one to choose and it can be a big like Cousins or hope for a better released player.

He asked for his release when it became clear the Rockets were tanking this season, and it was granted.  I’m personally not a fan of his for this year or in general, but he wasn’t cut due to lack of performance on his end.

You're right the Rockets didn't cut him and he can add something to a team in the regular season but I'm sure if he's playable at all in the playoffs were his slow feet and subpar defense will make him a massive liability. Think Kanter but slower and a worse defender....
