Two seconds and Cory Joseph to Detroit, per Woj.

The Detroit Pistons are trading guard Delon Wright to the Sacramento Kings for guard Cory Joseph and two second-round picks, sources tell ESPN.

This feels like Harrison Barnes is officially off the market.

Could just be the Kings shedding salary.

I like Wright. Can play both guard spots, solid passer, good defender. Would've liked him here

Wright is guaranteed $6 million more than Joseph next year, so doesn’t seem to be.

Yeah I mixed up the two’s salaries when I glanced quickly. My bad. I blame the time!

Hopeful it doesn’t mean Barnes is there long term though.

No one seems to understand what Kings do at any point but with this trade it seems like they thought they were given a bargain and took it. I wish Danny does more trades like this but it seems like this but he has not spare picks now

This could be a precursor to a Barnes trade as it provides a bit of a replacement (not as good clearly, but at least better than they had).
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

They already have Fox, Haliburton and Hield as their main three guards.  Delon Wright isn't going to make much of a difference there. He is just end of bench depth.
