Given Indiana are open to trading some of their key guys, to perhaps reset their core. I wonder if they would be interested in this trade package

Pacers receive: Walker, Langford, Robert Williams, 1-2 protected Celtics 1st round draft picks

Celtics receive: Brogdon, Turner

Turner, Tatum, Brown, Brogdon, Smart

Is this an overpay? Wrong package? Just what we should be after?

Career highlight: 1973-74 championship, Boston Celtics

Career lowlight: traded for a washing machine

Clever trade proposal. I wouldn't do it given my exaggerated faith in Rob and Romeo's future, but must admit it is pretty compelling. Don't see the Pacers doing this, however. I think Kemba contract is like the bubonic plague.

Thank you!

I agree with you on the Kemba front.

For me the hope is that we can move him to the Knicks when they have the salaries. I think with Thibs defensive scheme Kemba would actually do well and Dolan would be dumb enough to want Kemba as a Marbury 2.0

Not smart trade for me, but more not showing anything about Danny as he could sign Brogdon 1and half year instead of Kemba and having last summer Turner just for Hayward S/T. So Danny wouldn't have lost any asset and now for the same players we have to give Timelord, Langfrd and 2 picks ? No way. Not adding that Turner is limited, more than Gordon on my opinion (or at least a worst fit and less potential than Timelord). And Brogdon is good but injury prone. And still not supergood. I even prefer Bll I guess (again in the fit).

I can kind of understand Rob but Romeo??? Again, LOL. Brogdon >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> the future or Romeo

How did Ainge screw them? Didn't Gordon decide on his own to go to Charlotte?

For the Cs I love getting Brogdon for Kemba. Big win. I don’t love taking Turner’s contract and sending Rob. I guess that plus Romeo is the price for having Indy take on Kemba’s contract. Tempting, but not sure I’m sold.

Where I see a stop is: does Indy really want Kemba and do they want to bring in Rob given Sabonis in stone as their center? Also, it would be pretty bold to try to trade for Turner this year.

Brogdon for Kemba is a big win.

Don't see the appeal of bringing in Turner. Prefer Williams

If you want those two players, then you have to construct a proposal that does not include Kemba. Nobody is biting on Kemba except in exchange for an equally horrible contract.
