Good half.  To be blunt, we aren’t good enough to take anything for granted this season.  Playing solid basketball against a respectable team, despite being undermanned and on the second night of a back-to-back, is good.

Need to finish it this time.

Great half by the Celtics, particularly offensively. Ball movement, penetration, unselfish decisions. They look like a real team, not a few ISO players and the rest sitting there uselessly. Hm.

Defensive the effort has been okay, just have no answer for Valancunis with Timelord on the bench, and Ja can do whatever he wants. Semi had a nice defensive possession on him, I wonder if we could force that matchup again. He has the size and lateral quickness to stick with him.

Teague looks great tonight. No Tatum, Thompson or Kemba and the Celtics as a whole are looking pretty good.

Stevens teams always seem to do better when guys are out.

Better team ball. The Bench already has 20 points.

It’s nice to see the ball moving and the scoring spread out. Jaylen is deferring to his teammates and it has resulted in a good overall performance so far. Now if only they could do this with JT and Kemba back.

half of a good half anyway. i liked the offense in general. good ball movement.

but on defense it was marshmellow time. too many uncontested shots. too often the defender lost his man. not aggressive at the 3 point line.

celtics shot 63% from three point range. grizzlies only 27%. if they regress to their averages the celtics will be hard pressed to keep their lead.

still, they lead and should win this game.  ;D

Smart and Teague both had good first half.

17 assists at half.  Not to bash Tatum, but it's not a coincidence.

I hope he gets 10 more in the second half.

Good little burst to end the half. They've played a solid first half offensively, they just need to stop the Griz from feasting inside in the 2nd half and we should win this.

Hopefully Brown shows up in the second half, and they defend the paint, even a little bit

It’s amazing what ball movement and unselfish basketball can do to this team. This is what Brad’s equal opportunity offense looks like. Reminds me of the old IT/AB/Jerebko/Crowder teams. When the offense turned sour, that’s when IT usually took over. I really hope JT and Kemba are taking down notes because this is how Celtics ball should be.
