I read somewhere that if the Chiefs win today that in Mahomes 4 seasons (and still going) he will have as many playoff victories as Rodgers has had in the 11 seasons since the Packers won the Superbowl. That just shouldn't happen with someone as good as Rodgers is supposed to be.
If Brady wins today, he’ll have more playoff wins against the NFC than Rodgers. That’s pretty insane.
That includes the 6 SB wins in NE right?
I guess Rodgers has had less success than maybe he should have based on his excellence. How does he compare to the other HOFers in the recent era - Brees, Rothlesberger, Peyton?
If Mahomes gets to the big game again that'll be 3 in a row. Who's done that? Brady, Jim Kelly... anyone else?
Rodgers has 11 playoff wins, which is tied with Aikman and Staubach at 8th all time. Brees has 9 and is tied for 12th. Flacco is actually 11th with 10. Ben is tied with Farve for 6th all time with 13. Peyton is tied for 3rd with Elway and Bradshaw with 14. Montana has 16 and then there is Brady and his 35. Mahomes already has 7. Barring injury, I can't see any way Mahomes doesn't end up 2nd all time, but Rodgers also looked headed that way and is now sitting at 11-10, so who knows what may be (Ben also was well on his way to passing Montana and ended up 3 short).
Rodgers is 7-9 in the postseason since the Superbowl with 3 times going 1 and done and only once winning 2 in the same post season (2016 when they were 2-1). Just 1 Superbowl appearance in his career. Ben also looked like he'd go down as #2 in wins. I mean after 2010, the Steelers had just lost to the Packers in the Superbowl after winning it in 2005 and 2008 and Ben's post-season record was 10-3, he is just 3-7 since, but he at least has 3 SB appearances and 2 wins, and he wasn't ever a guy winning league MVP's or called the most talented guy in the league, like Rodgers.
Rodgers has had a very disappointing career for someone with his level of talent, accolades, and awards.
