I predict he is going to CLE which will buy him and Drummond out. I would think that CLE want to clear Prince and Osman contracts and Pop can make use of them instead of overpaying other players next year with their cap space.

He should go back to Portland.
That would be quite nice.

Not sure I can think of a more immobile trio of big men in NBA history than Enes Kanter, Jusuf Nurkic and 35 year-old LaMarcus Aldridge

I see him being bought out and going to Blazers, Suns, Lakers, Clippers or Bucks.

I wouldn't even want to give up the trade exception for Aldridge at this point....

Steve Smith on NBA TV said he would ideally go to Trailblazers or Celtics. Hm.

Wouldn't exactly be fireworks if he came to Boston.

I’ve always loved LMA. I’ve always wanted him to be a Celtic.

However, he is not a good fit for what we need. He’s shown his age the last two seasons.

If Danny trades for him it will be for Tristan straight up. Nothing else makes any sense

Not sure whether the Spurs would be willing to part ways with Vassell, but it would be worth a shot.

Re-sign Aldridge-Mills on the cheap during the offseason or let them walk. We'd save tons of money either way, which would help us use the full TPE and still keep our payroll under control. As things stand right now, I don't think we can realistically expect to use the full TPE. I mean, the luxury tax would explode through the roof next season! I can't see Wyc paying an NBA record luxury tax, especially in the midst of a recession due to the pandemic.

Vassell would be an unbelievable steal. So would Johnson or Murray, but Murray makes it hard salary-wise and fairness wise.
