How many first round picks would it take for MJ to agree to do it?

Let’s face it: Gordon never should have been allowed to leave.

I don’t think we can trade back for Hayward for 1 year after trading him away. This one trade is not possible with the tpe which expires the same time as the one year restriction expires.

Lol! With all due respect, this is ridiculous. If the C's were willing to pay Hayward $120,000,000 over 4 years, we would have matched Charlotte's offer during the offseason. Love Hayward's game, but he ain't worth that kind of money. Charlotte had to overpay him cause otherwise he wouldn't have signed for them.

Of course he is worth the 120mill if he stays healthy though.
This is a very reasonable contract for a player with his skills and efficiency but health is always going to be a factor.

Just trying to make you proud, papa.

I was serious at the time of posting. It’s just beyond frustrating that we let a 30 year all-star walk for nothing. Forgot we cannot trade for a player we recently traded for at least a period of one year. For some reason thought it was only during the season in which we traded him, or the season immediately after the off-season in which we did so—if that was the case, we could pull off this stunt in the off-season if MJ agreed to do it.

Well technically he didn't walk for nothing. We did get the $28m TPE for it.
Any odd typos are because I suck at typing on an iPhone :D

Imo, he ain't worth $120 million, irrespective of whether he'll stay healthy. I highly doubt he'll be worth $31,500,000 at the age of 34.

I actually think his game will age pretty well, as opposed to someone like kemba

Ah yes, we have to wait until the summer to officially declare he walked for nothing.
