I know the Celtics are playing terrible defense as a whole this year, but watching the team's they play against and other non-Celtic games, I can't help but wonder if the entire league just isn't bringing it defensively due to condensed schedule and not having the energy to give it their all on that side of the ball. Sure seems to me that defense league wide sucks overall and it's not just a Boston thing.

Yeah, the whole league is basically playing bad defence. It's especially notable for us because we usually play good defence, but it's an NBA thing
