You could see in the first 5 minutes of the game that JT was playing without intensity. JB at least was trying to get his teammates involved.

perfect play by Young to showcase the effort by the C's.  has to be the capper to GWill's disaster of a season

Tatum need not come back out of the locker room after halftime.  He's playing selfishly and his effort is horrible.

Absolutely. But that would require some leadership and accountability, which we apparently don't instill or require on this team.

I remember one of the big criticisms of Brown in Philly was that he never held Simmons accountable for not shooting 3s and lackluster play. Getting a lot of the same vibes from Brad with Tatum.

I've been telling people to bombard Tatum's twitter account that he's soft.

This game isn't as close as the score would indicate.

these last few games seem like a real turning point for the C's season.
this stinker is the topper, no effort, horrible play.

Is Smart the only one who cares at this point?  with the T

Tatum should absolutely sit the rest of the night. Either there's something wrong with him, or the coach needs to hold his star player accountable. Both say he should sit.

I think Wyc was on to something, these young players are mentally fried. Tatum has never had anything remotely close to the pressure of the last 12 months in his life. Became the franchise, bubble season plus playoffs, a new dad, Covid... I get it. Irving, Hayward, Walker, they've all come in and failed to lead and so the young guys were handed championship aspirations before they were ready.

Yes.

IF Brad cared he'd get tossed out of this one. But it's a process so he'll just plod along....  Someone needs to do something to walk these guys up.

Yep. Soft.

And Hawks broadcasters just roasting the Celtics - deservedly so.
