DMC would immediately become our 3/4 best player AND at a position of need!  Could we possibly convince him that he would be the difference maker in us becoming a championship contender?  Doubt it.  He'll end up with LeBron, of course.
Have you been in a coma for a few years? Boogie is not at all that good anymore. He'd fight with Theis and Thompson to be our 2nd best big

“Not all that good” and our 3rd or 4th best player aren’t mutually exclusive.  Boogie would be the most complete big man on our roster.
I don’t know that he would. He doesn’t have any ability to play defence, and his offensive game has evaporated this year. Putting up Marcus Smart level efficiency as a 7 footer is inexcusable.
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

He is literally shooting 38% from the field. As a 7 footer. That is abysmally awful for a big man.

I didn't want Thompson and I don't want Cousins.  Timelord needs to be given 20-25 minutes on a consistent basis.

Agree - That would at least feel like we had a purpose to what we are doing every game. Letting the young core develop together.
Along with that philosophy, play Pritchard at PG more minutes. I know he has struggled of late, but at least we could see how a possible future, contending core would develop together. Just for his morale, keep Kemba starting, but move him over to 2 guard more and give Nesmith some minutes there as well.

Pritchard, Smart, Tatum, Brown and RWilliams - yes I know there would be struggles, but at least we would have a purpose and direction beyond just making the playoffs and making it to the second round. Is that enough pure talent to win a title ? Williams and Pritchard would have to make huge improvements the next couple of seasons. If not, that makes a good second unit and we bring in major upgrades.
The Four Celtic Generals:
Russell - Cowens - Bird - Garnett

The Four Celtic Lieutenants:
Cousy - Havlicek - McHale - Pierce

He's cleared waivers now, and reportedly the Lakers don't want him. I hope he signs with the Celtics soon.

There's a story out there in Celtics Rumors that says the Celtics might be interested in Cousins.

There is also a tweet  from Dave Robot, a Boston sports insider, that Ainge is hot after Beal and the bait is Jaylen Brown.

If that's true and the players know about it, then that would totally explain why the team is playing like crap lately and Ainge is taking the blame publicly. I can easily see Brown, Tatum and even some of the other guys hanging their heads if they think Ainge wants to ship out Brown.

I read a trade "Rumor" with Celtics trading Kemba for Westbrook. There's a lot of crazy stuff out there.

Brown for Beal makes zero sense simply for the contract situations.  Its not happening.

Should have got Harden for the Cs and to keep him away from a division rival?

Lol. That guy isn’t an insider.  Look at his tweets.  They’re all bull crap.  How’s that Gordon for Drummond “rumor” work out?  Our hot pursuit of Harden? Smart for Westbrook?

Matt Stafford to the 49ers? Watt and Fuller to the Pats?

It’s laughable.
