Doncic is so tough to guard because he can always be the triple threat, shoot, drive or pass.
his first step is pretty good for a chubster, and he is a strong chubby

Some of these problems would be alleviated if we played the type of solid defense we were accustomed to seeing from the Celtics.
Has the absence of Gordon Hayward also hurt our defense ?

Seems more like mentality to me. Might be coaching related. We used to be absolute dogs on D.

Absolutely this.

And what I'll say is that I think it absolutely could be 90% due to the absence of Smart. He's the heart and soul of the team.  But it's kind of a problem that one guy's absence like this can lead to this kind of performance.
