Hopefully I can watch the entire game instead of being so aggravated that I leave for a walk.

The Celtics are coming off losses to Washington & Detroit and are facing a tough Denver team

Which is EXACTLY why they'll come out firing and probably win this game by like 15  :P

(And then getting blown out to the Hawks tomorrow...)

Feels like a must win (even though it obviously isn't)

The Nuggets are a tough team. We better show up!

Jokic is going to cause havoc on Theis

Theis could be in foul trouble early

I read that Theis may not play. I'd like to see Tacko get some run if that's true. Every time Tacko plays the other team takes some time to adjust especially if we go zone at any point.

Jokic makes good centers look bad. He would eat Tacko alive...

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

And they still would today.  The guy moves like a slug. But has high BBIQ and skills

those things are trickier to assess/how it will translate at the NBA level

Same for a guy like Ingels

For every Ingels there are 5 Adam Morrisons

I'm a sucker for high BBIQ players. Really excited to watch the Joker tonight against the C's. Him and Luka are my favourite players to watch right now. Problem is, we got nobody to stop him. Our Centers ain't big enough to slow him down in the paint. He may score 30+ points on his own or he may casually deliver 10+ assists and get everyone around him better. The second scenario is just as scary, especially since the Nuggets got 2 talented scorers in Murray and Porter Jr. I fully expect Jokic to kick our @ss regardless of whether he has a big scoring night. This is what strikes me the most about the Joker: He may dominate games on offense without scoring the basketball.

I agree that this is a trap within a trap...Hawks are looming.

The Celtics defense without Smart "looks" the same as the 6 games without him (lot of good opponents). Oddly enough the Celtics offense without Smart is measurably worse...which I will assign to his defensive presence as we all know about his offense.

6 games is too small a sample.

Are you serious? Maybe it's the cut and paste answer because it's inarguable. You can't hold some random 2nd round pick turning into a gem against Ainge.

Secondly, there were numerous other 1st round picks worse than Young. Ainge also totally hit on Smart, given other guys taken in the top 10 were Exum, Stauskas, Vonleh, and Elfrid Payton.

Theis is not playing tonight. Not sure if anyone else is out.
The C's have played A LOT of games this month. Could be out of gas and no Smart to help on D and the little quality depth we already have with TT and Teague being such disappointments.
Even though several players are out for Denver they have a VERY deep roster.
This should be a close game though after last 2 disasters.

I would expect Theis to fare the worst against Jokic out of the Theis, Thompson, Rob Williams triumphate. So not a big loss in my eyes.
