Don’t hear much bout the Jazz but are they the team to beat? Won 17 out of 18 games so far..Don’t think they can beat Lakers or Nets but if they can add to their bench at trade deadline, who knows
C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark
PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin

Yeah I'd say them and the Lakers.

I think they are right now. However, as I heard on NBA Radio Sirius XM this morning - the Lakers are maybe a game behind them and AREN'T EVEN TRYING. What happens when they try?

They have two stars like we do, but they have 4 fairly reliable other scorers who can shoot 3's with high efficiency. Between them, they get support scoring almost every game. All of them can also beat you off the dribble.

I think the lesson for us is that we need regular output (10-15 ppg) from a couple of more guys. Pritchard is mostly there, but we need more.

It could all be there by playoff time. If Pritchard gets just a bit more consistent, Kemba just got his 3 point shooting in order, and Langford gave the team a consistent 10 ppg in 20 minutes, we would be in a similar position. Right now, we don't get that consistency, and our records reflects that.

The lakers are clearly trying though? James is a front runner mvp and Anthony Davis is killing it as usual and everyone else is playing hard in their roles playing normal minutes...do they have another gear? Yeah probably but can we stop with they’re “not trying”

Lakers are still the best team in the playoffs.

They have the best record so they are the best team by that metric.  That said, I think I'd probably have them as the 7th most likely team to win the championship behind both LA's, Denver, Milwaukee, Brooklyn, and Philadelphia.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip
