If Danny could swing a trade using the Trade exception, which of these two would you rather pick up? Both can shoot and neither is a good defensive player. I think Hield is on a slightly better contract.

Heild. He's much more likely to mesh with this team. LaVine is a gunner with poor bball IQ

LaVine — better contract, better player. But zero reason for CHI to do it.

The Bulls are in a rebuild and LaVine doesn't fit that time line but Nesmith and Romeo might.

Hield will be a lot easier and cheaper to acquire, so I'd rather have him, but honestly I'd rather neither.  I think Barnes or Collins makes a lot more sense.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

That Collins kid is getting the max next year and it won't be from The Celtics. I like Barnes as well.

How does a 25-year-old star not fit a rebuilding timeline?  He's exactly the kind of piece they should be trying to acquire!  He's only about a year and a half older than Jaylen.  I know that dude feels like he's been around forever somehow, but he's still an excellent piece to build a future-facing roster around.

The Bulls' problem is that the rest of the young players they've assembled look very uninteresting to me.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

I thought LaVine was 28 but the way The Bulls are going he still doesn't fit there timeline. ;D

It would be from the Celtics if they acquired him and I'd be fine with that.

They'd have 4 max contracts. The luxury tax would be massive. What's Collin's max? Collins turned down 90 million from the Hawks already.

So.  They've paid the tax for what would clearly be inferior teams in the past.  No reason to think they wouldn't do it for a better team in the future.  And Walker can be traded if it is a real issue for expiring contracts so it would be a 1 year problem if they didn't want to do it long term.

You think Collins is worth the max? You think Kemba has trade value at this point?
