It is apparently happening cause apparently voting is already open. I would say I want the recognition for Jaylen this year for all the work he has put in, but I think it could be a pretty interesting all-star roster based on the season with players missing time for COVID, Irving going missing etc. (for the record I think it is pretty needless and a little reckless this year because if someone got positive all the leagues stars miss a few games, but that is a different topic).
Here are my thoughts off the top of my head, probably forgetting a ton of people, but this already seems like a massive list of candidates. I feel like there are a lot less locks than in previous seasons.

East Locks
Giannis
Embid
Durant (unless he missed much more time)
Tatum
Beal
Harden (I think he will have played enough games)

Candidates
Jerami Grant
Jaylen Brown
Trae Young
Hayward
Drummond
Randle
Lavine
Middleton
Ben Simmons
Sabonis
Brogdon
Irving
Adebayo
Siakam

Personally would move JB to the lock column. I think Lavine gets in too. I don't think Siakam has a prayer.

I was close to putting in Jaylen, but we are hovering around .500 now so it is tough to give us two locks and a first timer.

I think Jaylen is a lock. Hayward too. Drummond has no shot at making it.

Jerami Grant deserves it this year, but I'm not sure if he will get it.

It'd be borderline criminal if Jaylen didn't make it.

Randle should be a lock.. Sabonis, Lavine, Grant & Bam also should be
C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark
PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin

I think Brown deserves 1st team all-NBA right now.

He's been a bit better than Harden, Beal, Doncic or Lillard.
