There’s only 5 players I’d want to keep:
Tatum
Brown
Smart
Pritchard
Theis
In that order.

Everyone else can go, IMO. I love Kemba, but he’s an expensive third banana and his skill set doesn’t exactly compliment the Jays.

Maybe trade Kemba for Randle and a pick? Then move Thompson (and others/picks) for a legit playmaker/shooter. Hold the TPE for the summer and see who’s available via trade/free agency.

I’m with you, brother. I’m not exactly enamored with anybody other than those five, and even Theis I’d be willing to trade for the right price. Keep hoping Langford and Nesmith show me something to be excited about because Kemba’s knees and 12-11 are killing me.

I'll tell ya a series of moves to contend (if this board was an NBA GM). Trade the whole roster for:

Lonzo Ball
George Hill
Harrison Barnes
Thad Young
Al Horford

We'd contend all right.... for the #1 pick in the draft!

You forgot Ellington as our sixth man lol

I don’t think we need to do anything drastic.  I know our record is disappointing, but it’s been a weird year.

We do desperately need Kemba to get a lot better, even just being 90% the player he was last year pre knee injury.  Then one simple trade to add a stretch four... Barnes, Collins, A Gordon, or a similar player.

I think that’s all we need to contend and be a team I’d enjoy rooting for.

Just keep Jaylen Brown

Yep, TP.

We cannot get rid of him now.  Early on, people were trying to trade Brown for Kawhi and I held the course saying that Brown could be the next Kawhi, showing various comparisons along the way.

Well, here we are and now you all want to trade our Kawhi?  People be crazy!

Randle is averaging 22/11/6 on decent percentages. I think he has far surpassed Kemba in terms of value...even leaving out the pick.

We need to make sure we keep Jaylen and Tatum - everybody else is on the table at this point.
