What happened to the Miami Heat?

went to take a look at the eastern conference standings. and most of the teams up there are who you would expect.

but, i was surprised to see the heat are 8-14. that is horrible. unless they start winning most of their games they are in danger of missing the playoffs. a year after making it to the finals that is quite the drop. now, I know they missed some guys due to covid.

but that cant be everything.
