This kid for a late pick looks to have some speed and skill.
Maybe this pick pans out in a few years. The kid has good motor and aggression in game highlites for awhile now.
Due to competition thats the big question but he is getting good reps vs men and he will fill out at 6-3.

i agree with you rollie. i do think he needs some more time to develop consistency in his game.

by the way, there is a thread on him already incase you want to visit that one.

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
Had some back and forth discussion with him on another site. He might actually be a good player...and possibly really good. Danny has done admirably in the 2nd round, but it sure would be great if we actually drafted a winner with Yam. I was like w-t-f at the time of the pick, but the kid has some real potential. Let's hope he continues his progression!

Edit: Just hit Ed Macauley with that last post. Not bad, but it was way more fun being Danny!

I've been quietly really high on him. Over all leagues this season he's averaging 17/5/3/1, with shooting splits of 46/39/83. Really exciting stuff for a guy who just turned 20. I think he could definitely step into 3rd string duties next year, saying goodbye to Teague and Waters.

A future PG rotation of Pritchard and Madar suits me!
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

I like the attitude in D and the offensive potential of the kid, but still a lot of question about his upside and adaptation to biggest adversity and the league. But yeah this draft was one of the most loaded on serious NBA level PG... I mean  Ball and Halliburton are on road to be very good and Quickley, Pritchard, Lewis, Anthony, Maxey at least good role player and potential for Hayes, Maledon (that I still would have prefered than Madar), Flynn, Hampton or even Manion and Madar. It may make more than 10 calibered NBA PG on one draft, that is pretty good I guess

There's a "your mother" joke in here somewhere, and I just can't find it...

I really wonder if the NBA will let Yam play that defense in the league. He's amazing on both ends. He's got to smooth out the wrinkles in his game but he's highly skilled and his motor is amazing.

Hest not handchecking players, so he'll be fine.

They call a lot of cheap fouls in the NBA.
