How can we acquire Big Al without going above the apron? Is it possible to get him without going above the tax line?

We could really use him. He takes care of himself. He’s still playing solid. He could keep it going 2-3 more seasons. He was a quiet leader and the team hasn’t been itself since he was displaced as the leader alongside IT...

There was a medium-sized Al Harrington :)

I think of him more as Scarface Al

Pacino was great in the Godfather, but Scarface was ALL his.

Average Al not playing so average....?

Tonight: 29mins:  26pts, 7Reb, 8ast, 3blk, 3stl  10-19 FG, 3-6 from 3pt

Last 10 games: 27 mins, 16.5pts, 7.5reb, 3ast, 2stl, 1blk, FG:50%, 3pt:72.2%

He would make a huge difference on this team. Even if he’s overpaid by $5M/year.

Al is one of the best player on this poor team. He wouldn't fit well with our team. We didn't want to give this overpaid contract two years ago and won't do it this year. Whatever I wish hil the best : being a good mentor for this team or play good enough to have onterest from a better team who can pay him (unprobable).
And more : we don't have any liability at the center position, it is the one we are 100% loaded

Pacino was great in Godfather I and II.   Godfather III was a start to finish train wreck to which Pacino contributed significantly.

Maybe the question is would the C’s get GI&II Al or GIII Al. Big difference.
