Who was worse tonight, Thompson or Smart?

Smart, for sure. He provided key stops throughout the game, and by stops, I mean stopping the Celtics. Bad TO’s, missed FT’s, and bad shots. Gotta believe those things kill a team’s spirit and a team’s run

With Kemba out, Smart is basically our #3 guy on the roster. Not ideal.

I think #3 option shots should be going Teague's way.

Look, if Thompson can't stop the likes of Plumlee from looking like Shaq, he shouldn't be playing. Dang shame that Timelord got injured.
TT got his ass kicked by Plumlee. Would have thought that impossible.

No big deal.  Celtics had a few nice opportunities to tie up or take the lead, the shots just didn't drop. They were all good shots, though - Tatum's corner 3, Smart's iso floater, and Brown's 3.

This was also the third game in four nights at the beginning of a season with a short layoff.

Detroit's better than their record suggests, too.  They play hard, defend, and have two MIP candidates in Grant and Jackson.

All good. On to the next one.

Where do you get off coming in here with all those reasonable statement!  we want to be mad!!
haha
:)

He’s right but it’s fair as a fan to be frustrated by this. There’s still no excuse to come out the way the did in the first quarter. Hopefully it’s a good lesson.

If they had put in a bare minimum of effort in the first half this game is not close enough for a late panic-choke. They set themselves up once again to choke like dogs. They deserve all the criticism and shame they will receive after this abomination.

He or PP should be starting in Kemba’s absence. No clue why Brad is still trying this 2 big lineup junk...it’s a fail on both ends.

yeah, it was a bad loss, especially because we seemed to have control of the game with just a couple minutes left and then the wheels completely came off.

Sometimes you have put players in that can get you a bucket. I guess we have no such players....

He was clearly drafted as a project but I was hoping Nesmith would be doing this...
