Celtics FG 53.1% 3PT 55%
Grizz FG 37% 3PT 10%

Bench
Celtics  40 minutes 6 pts
Grizz 41 minutes 12 pts

The J's 9 of 12 from three, my math indicates 27 points there...

And that stat would explain the Grizzly's current predicament.

Regardless of whether or not shots were going on, the best part of that half was the Celtic defense. Every player was locked in. Rotations were great. Individual efforts were great. They got their hands into passing lanes.

Worst defender was Payton Pritchard. He got hung up on a lot of screens and that compromised the defense a few times. Luckily, the shot creators for the Grizzles are pretty bad.

in another game....

KD and Kyrie are 7 / 25 from the field and the Nets are down at half to ATL.

Why couldn't we have gotten that Nets team?

Great chance to look at nesmith hopefully brad takes his head outta his butt long enough to keep him in.  They need to at least see what they have

Do we only have one game to evaluate him in?

It's a long season. People need to calm down. The kid will get a chance and probably few more chances just for good measure.

Jaylen Brown is quickly becoming one of those guys where you pity whoever has to guard him.

Teague has been wonderful in helping out our undersized bigs against JV - couple of nice strips.

Also lol at Grayson Allen going down after stepping on Teague’s ankle after his years of trying to hurt people. Karma hey?

Yeah he really has.  Would like Brad to play Jaylen a big part of the 2nd half to keep him going.
40, 50 point games raise awareness of you in the NBA.  Jaylen feels like he runs under the radar a bit.

I'm pretty sure they already have a decent idea of what they have with Nesmith. If they thought he deserved more time he'd be getting more time. It's the fans that want to see what we have in Nesmith, because somehow he's become the next Tyler Herro in our minds and Tyler Nesmith deserves to play, [dang it]

It may look like a 26-point lead. But when you factor in our usual 3rd quarter struggles, we're really only up 11 right now  :P

The Grizz are probably wondering why they couldn't get the Celtics team from that Nets game too, the one that shot 29% from 3 instead of 52% like tonight  ;D

3rd quarter coming up so cant wait to see how they blow this lead.
why so negative? really. the celtics will be fine this game.
Because they have been a dumpster fire in the 3rd since forever. I dont trust them with a 26 pt lead.
not entirely. the beat the bucks in the 3rd quarter 37-25 this season. a sucktatic 3rd quarter is not a sure thing for this team.

Let's come out strong and close this 3rd quarter up big. The 4th quarter should be the Nesmith, Pritchard and Taco show.

Yeah, wasn’t hoping for it to happen, but there was some element of poetic irony to it.
